Since 2011, Patrice has dedicated himself to the study and preservation of the nihontō—a cultural icon that embodies the spirit, discipline, and legacy of the samurai.

His journey began under the mentorship of Laurent Milhau, one of France’s most respected experts in Japanese blades. There, he developed a rigorous command of traditional polishing techniques and the nuanced art of blade appraisal. Eager to deepen his understanding, Patrice travelled to Japan to train with master polishers—the living custodians of centuries-old craftsmanship.

Today, Patrice Sabbah offers his expertise to collectors and martial arts practitioners alike, restoring the brilliance of exceptional swords with authenticity and reverence. Each blade he touches is not only preserved, but reawakened—honoring its history while ensuring its legacy endures.
