We are proud to present the exceptional collection of Roy Echtermeijer, a dedicated collector of Japanese swords and art for over 47 years. Since launching his website in 1999, he has offered a carefully curated selection of rare and historically significant pieces from his own collection, as well as from collectors worldwide.

Since 2003, he has traveled regularly to Japan, where he visits trusted contacts, museums, and specialized fairs to further expand his knowledge and collection. Over the years, a deep passion has developed for DaiSho—the paired katana and wakizashi—which embodies the very soul of the samurai. This has resulted in an extensive DaiSho collection, with each piece reflecting the craftsmanship and spirit of the samurai tradition.

The collection includes museum-quality Japanese swords and artifacts, selected for their craftsmanship, authenticity, and preservation. Each item reflects the rich tradition of Japan’s warrior class and its artistic heritage.

We invite you to explore this remarkable collection and discover the timeless legacy of samurai culture through a carefully curated selection of authentic and historically significant pieces.
